Lord of the Rings Vs Star Wars Vs Harry Potter

For this match -

We are picking the particular powers that each franchise centers around:

Lord of the Rings - The Ring

Star Wars - The Force

Harry Potter - Magic

Who would win given each of these powers against the other?

  1. The force, given we have seen in the Kotor games that enough of it is capable of wiping out planets, where, for all their power, The Ring and Magic are single planet level.

Side note, we need to advertise better. FB page, youtube video update. Something to get the news back out that FP is back online again.

Third, a battle suggestion. Guts (Berserk) vs the Jojo Gauntlet (Each Jojo of Jojo's Bizzare adventure faced at their peak, one after another, in chronological order).

  2. Force is capable of some pretty Silly Shit.

Good to see FP is back, Admin. I missed this place, even though I had stopped commenting for the most part.

  3. ... "Lord of the Rings - The Ring"? ... Is that some kind of joke?

A SINGLE magical artifact Vs TWO whole magic systems?

... Ironically, the Ring might very well win. Given that it is at least a "thing", while the other two are simply magic systems with no one present to actually use them ON the Ring.

  4. there is also the question of what would happen if a force user or a wizard were to find the ring and attempt to use it for their own benefit?

I am going to present a scenario using the following parameters:
    1) there are three nameless wielders, one for each power.
    2) the nameless wielder of the ring can use it the way that sauron does with the mace in the flashback scene, though the ring also has its standard powers. (because it was designed to control the elves, dwarves, and men who recieved the rings, and the two opponents in this match up would not have any of those rings, the one ring can not affect them unless they put it on.)
    3) the nameless force user has no lightsaber as the force is a powerful weapon in itself.
    4) the nameless wizard has a wand, and a standard invisibility cloak. NOT the hallow cloak that is invulnerable to both time, and magic.
    5) all three contestants are proficient in the use of their power. the force user has a knight-level understanding of the force, but doesn't favor the light side abilities over the dark and vice-versa. the wizard has completed all seven years at hogwarts with average OWL and NEWT scores. and finally the wielder of the ring, though not sauron, is the master of the ring and is the only one who can control it.
    6) they fight in a deserted roman-style coliseum.

So, without further adieu, here is how I see this playing out:
the ring wielder is the first to die because he gets hit with a killing curse or force lightning or sth. then the force user and the wizard face off. the wizard uses his invisibility cloak and starts to send a few spells towards the force user. the force user can detect the wizard despite the cloak. in the end i think the wizard would defeat the force user because he has such a wide range of spells at his disposal, and a large number of them can be used to incapacitate and kill. anyway, it doesn't really matter if its the wizard or the force user who wins because the ring can influence the winner to search the bodies for loot and as soon as they put on the ring, they discover the whole invisibility thing and slowly, the ring corrupts them, and they slowly wither away like golum. even if they suspect that the ring is evil and attempt to destroy it, they have absolutely no way of actually destroying it because they don't know about mt. doom. so it doesn't matter wether they are abandoned by the ring or they keep it until they just wither into nothing and die. either way, the ring outlives them. therefore i have to say that the ring wins.
